How long has OSS been in business?

Offshore Saving Solutions was created in mid-2008 when a group of individuals decided to use their 13 years of experience setting up 5 successful businesses in Costa Rica to help other small to mid-sized American companies take advantage of the economic and business friendly environment available in Costa Rica. How do I get started?

Once you submit a request for a free consultation, or call OSS, an Outsourcing Consultant will help you begin to develop the unique plan that will be the first step toward your company taking advantage of the economic and business friendly environment available in Costa Rica.

How soon can I get a proposal?

Following the initial consultation we will evaluate your needs and create a plan for moving forward. Depending on the nature of your business, and offshore outsourcing desires this will take from 2 days to 2 weeks.

How soon can I be up and running?

Following your acceptance of our proposal, OSS will have your business up and running in Costa Rica in 10 to 30 business days, in most cases.

What type of positions can I outsource?

OSS can and will find employees for any job. Our specialties are: Customer Service, Data Entry, Accounting / Finance, Administrative, Graphic Designers, Web Developers, Programmers most languages, Sales / Telemarketers, and all employees will be able to speak English and Spanish.

My business requires 24-hour services. Do you have employees who can work all shifts?

Employees are available to work any shifts that are necessary.

Are there qualified employees in the Costa Rican workforce?

Having abolished their military in 1949, Costa Rica has made a concerted effort to invest in the education of its people. This investment allows the country to offer an enormous number of available, qualified and efficient workers who are fluent in English and maintain modern standards in computer competency. A large portion of the population ages 18-40 work either directly or indirectly for a North American parent company.

Will I have contact with the new employees?

All OSS staff will have client-local, U.S. phone numbers as well as email and instant messaging capabilities. Also, if you have industry specific software, that will be utilized as well. It is no different than talking to client staff members when they are working remotely or just out of the office.

Will I be able to use all my same software, computers, etc?

Our approach is to make this transition as seamless as possible. Wherever possible, we will take the operation that you have currently in place and transplant it here in the most cost effective fashion.

Will I need to travel to Costa Rica?

As your representatives in Costa Rica, we are here to make sure that everything can be handled via phone, fax, and email. Of course, San Jose, Costa Rica is a 2 to 5 hour flight from most regions of the United States, and is a wonderful place to visit. We would love to have you come down and see your operation.

What hosting services do you provide?

Depending upon your needs, our state of the art data center allows us to provide services ranging from basic web hosting, to colocation rack space, to a fully managed platform, if needed.

Why would I host offshore?

Being offshore affords you enhanced data privacy and the ability to have an offshore storefront that is necessary to take full advantage of offshore tax benefits. Also, due to our location, we are able to provide premium server and hosting services at significantly lower costs.
